Considering therapy is a brave act.

Rarely is that decision a whim or an impulse, and most likely you’ve been thinking about this for a while. Now here you are; being curious and maybe nervous and scared at the same time. In my opinion – brave things are rarely comfortable, but always worth trying.

Whether you are looking to make a shift in your relationships, provide help and guidance for your children, or you have reached a point in your own life where you no longer want to “figure it out alone”- you have come to a good place to get moving. It can get better.

Individual Counseling

We all struggle at times – with anxiety, depression, and stress –  along with the circumstances in our lives that contribute to these feelings. The “feelings” themselves are never wrong. Where we get into trouble (and can feel stuck in them) is when we can’t make sense of it all and isolation creeps in. You’re not in this alone.

Relationship & Couples Counseling

Relationships take many different forms. Whether you are in a romantic, committed relationship, or trying to figure out what is next for you and your partner, having a guide and trained professional come alongside you can make a huge difference in your life .

Families, children, & Teens

Within any family there are many moving parts, and each members’ experiences and struggles have an impact on the functioning of the  whole family unit . This is both good news and bad news. The good news is change in one area, or in one member, impacts the family as a whole. The hard part is stepping out and finding a place to start – and I’m here to say, “it won’t be as hard as it feels right now.”

The right fit

It’s important. Really important. Finding the right fit for yourself, for someone you care about, or for your child or teen matters a lot. It can be an anxiety inducing task, so rest assured that if it’s not the right fit between us, I will know and you will too.  Then, it’s my job to help you find the setting and therapist that does feel right.
